    PC crashing after closing games, sometimes instantly, sometimes after a few minutes.

    Have done a fresh install and downloaded one game to test after updating everything and same thing happens.

    Having read your response carefully, your hardware configuration and drivers seem to be fine,

    • Perhaps you can try to restore your MSI RTX3060Ti to an older graphics driver by clicking "search" in the web page and selecting an older version:

    • Do not open other web pages while opening the game, and test if this problem can be avoided in this situation.


    • Test to see if you experience the same situation when using other games, and if only this game causes you to experience the problem, you can try to contact the game manufacturer to ask if there is a solution for similar situations.

    PC crashing after closing games

    Hi Morning,

    I have tried both of those things you have suggested but to no avail.

    I have paid a pc specialist to come around and have a look and they made sure bios and drivers were up to date but couldnt replicate the crashes ive been getting.

    I am still managing to play the one game i have with friends.

    Sometimes if i logout back to main menu of game it will crash, restart pc. other times it wont and then other times it crashes, restarts pc shortly after closing game

    • whether this problem occurs in a specific game or in any game.

    Thank you very much for the WinDbg, I found some information inside:

    • VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE is a blue screen error message that is usually directly related to the graphics card driver.
    • nvlddmkm.sys is the core program of the graphics card, so I judge that the problem you are experiencing may be related to the graphics card driver.

    You can try the following:

    1. Update the graphics card driver . The steps can be referred to:

    Update drivers manually in Windows - Microsoft Support

    Download address for Nvidia drivers：

    Official Drivers | NVIDIA
