    My xbox one elite controller won't stay connected to my computer wirelessly thru the official dongle for more than a few seconds, the battery is fully charged and the dongle is less than a foot from the controller.

    Xbox looses connection to PC

    After upgrading to Win 10 from Win 7, my Xbox 360 will not connect to Windows Media Player on my PC. The network connectivity and PC connectivity tests show all is OK. Any ideas?

    Check your ethernet wires. Use newer ones that actually click into the port. Do you have connectivity issues using your PC?

    Simply connect the console to a PC via a bridged connection, and then just connect the PC to the internet.

    The reason this works is because your Xbox is using your PC as a proxy to connect to the LAN. Basically, all the router sees is your PC connecting, even though it is your Xbox using the internet.

    Have you tried connecting your modem to a PC? to see if it connects.

    If that still connects try connecting your PC to your router and then see if that connects o.k.
