PC became slower after 4 months of use

CPU- Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400F CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz

GPU- GT 730

RAM- two piece of 4gb ram

so my parents bought me my first pc for graduation as a gift it was all good i could play games in pc now but i've noticed in this month of MAY my pc suddenly became somewhat "crappy" it became slow and cpu suddenly becomes at 100%

it affects both browsers such as edge and MS Teams and games like xenoverse 2

yeah deffo scan the pc for malware as stated above, also open task manage and let us know what is running at hight cpu usage this will also help to pinpoint the issue.

shortcut to task manager, hit left ctrl+shift+esc key and this will launch task manager.

I would scan your computer for malware first and foremost. That would be textbook behavior

Look in task manager to see which programs are using the most processing time

Hmm for a weird thing before MAY my pc doesn't freeze for 1-2 second for information i'm still running the same

apps from JAN to MAY which is chrome or edge and MS TEAMS but when i start chrome or edge or ms teams it freezes suddenly also for the browsers i usually use 2-3 tabs

so i've scanned for threats on windows defenders and saids there's no threats ,although is windows defender enough or shall i use a third party app if so a recommendation would be appreciated.

edit: Also i haven't done things like piracy or illegal downloads for games
