PC Background changes between 2 people that are logged into same account on different computer

why does it, you cannot use the same account in 2 places, you can log in with a different account on pc then play at the same time, but for security and not to break the sync system you cant use the same account in 2 different places at the same time, same applies to most other services from other companies too.

Unlike Steam or other PC download services, Windows games and apps can't be shared between two different PCs, even when logged in with the same secure Microsoft account.

Games install to an encrypted 'WindowsApps' folder, which can only be read on the original PC it was activated on.

This has been an issue for a lot of people. You need to make sure you're logged into both the Windows Store & Games app with the same account. Then try restarting your laptop and it should work! For some reason if there is a difference between logged in

If you redeem the code on your account, that account will be the "main one", the one with the subscription.

Your Xbox Account is the same Microsoft Account, you don't need to create a new one.

Once you download the Xbox PC app, you just need to log in with said account.

On your son's computer, install the Xbox App, log with his Microsoft Account.

Once done, you will change his Microsoft Store account, by using yours.

On the App, select his gamer pic, then select Settings.

Under Account, select Change my Microsoft Store account.

Follow the on-screen instructions and sign in to the Store with your Microsoft Account.

I changed my password. Still didn't work. I tried logging on with a different account and that did work. The thing is all my saves are on my other account so I still need to access it. Also, my computer uses the same Microsoft account as my xbox, and my
computer can sign in no problem.
