PC back to Console

Having never done this before, I heard I could use my xbox controller on my PC. So I plugged mine into my pc and it worked. But now I can't get the controller to work with the xbox anymore.

How do I get it back?

You will need to re-pair it with the console.

You can do so by plugging it into the console using a USB cable or by using the pair buttons on the controller and console.

Hello. you need to resynchronize the controller and console. this will happen to you whenever you switch devices, even if it's to another console. Here it puts you the steps to follow

Is it console or PC? If it's console, try to power cycle it by pressing the xbox button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off. Then plug it out for 3 minutes and plug it back in and boot it up again. See if that works. If not, reply back here.

If it's a PC, see if you need to update your PC.

You can format it back to PC at any time, of course when you plug it in to your Xbox for formatting you will lose your PC documents etc so back those up on your PC before you start.

Then when you are done, move all your Xbox stuff back to your console before plugging the HDD in to your PC for formatting back to PC use.

Try connecting your drive back up to the PC and see if the PC sees it. If so while it is unplugged from the console repeat the hard reset on the console. Once the reset os complete plug the drive back into the console and restart it. If that doesn’t work
then you may need to reformat the drive and try again.
