Hello, GTA V is not a cross-platform game, in order to play together you both will need to either have a xbox, ps4 or pc.

If you do not have the same console you will not be able to play together.

Unfortunately, the Xbox 360 Edition of Minecraft is not cross-platform. Your friend would need to play on an Xbox One or other platform to play with you on PC. For more detail, here is the Xbox support post about this topic. Hope that helps!

Cross-play refers to the ability of players on different platforms, such as Xbox One and PC, to play together in the same game. Gears did have cross platform in testing... it was shut down.
