PC -> Add exception / ask to play game

I'm trying to let my kid play Starfield, without changing the age rating for everything. We have PC game pass so the game is installed and I can play. Searching brings up explanations for console that don't seem to work on PC. The app/website say my child has to request the game, but the game doesn't even show up in their list so they have no obvious way to request it?

Does someone know how my child can request the game so that I can allow them to play? Or for me to add the game myself?

    :)

you will have to change all the age rating on his account, the game has adult themes which are not suitable to children and will be blocked.

There are documented ways to add exceptions for specific titles - but it says they have to ask and I can't see how they can do that on a PC

    Add game to exceptions

MS, Please give us a correct answer to this question. "HOW DO WE ADD A GAME TO THE EXCPTION LIST SO THAT WE DON'T NEED TO ENTER PASSWORD TO LAUNCH THE GAME?" Please don't give us any old answer, please give us THE answer to the question.

I have a feeling the truthful answer is something like this, " Sorry, we intended to give parents the ability to add games to the exception list, but there's a glitch in our code, and it cannot be done unless we fix it. We'll refer this to the appropriate
department, but don't expect a fix anytime soon"

OK please answer this question directly and fully. I have searched endlessly for an answer and no one seems capable of answering including any OPs.

HOW DO YOU ADD A GAME TO THE EXCEPTIONS LISt, PLEASE ANSWER WITH ALL DETAILS.

IF GAMES CANNOT BE ADDED WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS FEATURE

    Add game to exceptions

I don't suppose there is any way to add original Xbox games to the exceptions list? For example, Halo 2 does not ask if I want to add it to the exceptions list, and AFAIK, there is no other method in place to add to do so. Just looking for confirmation that
    this is true.

Not being a programmer, I might be wrong, but it seems to me MS should be able to allow us to choose games from a list, instead of the current method.
