I have been unable to make purchases on xbox.com, my xbox one or when attempting a purchase of a Office live 365 subscription for over a month. How can I resolve this error? I have spend over 3 hours with tech support and I cannot get my issue escalated.

The error message is:

"Your purchase can’t be completed with this payment option. Try a different or new way to pay" and the code is PBR9002

This issue was posted last year, if you're currently experiencing it please create a new thread and let us know. Please make sure not to bump older threads, thank you!

 

A Microsoft help desk person had to transfer my account to their control, make some changes and then transfer it to me to resolve this issue. Hope that helps.
