PBR9002 Error, Payment Risk Block

Hey Xbox Support,

I'm really disappointed in the service I've been given lately - I have not been able to purchase anything from Microsoft for the past 2 or 3 weeks.

When I try to purchase anything (Games, Music, Videos, products from MicrosoftStore.com), my payment method gets denied with the following message:

Use a different way to pay
Your purchase can't be completed with this payment option. Try a different or new way to pay.

This happens regardless of what payment methods I use. I have tried Paypal, American Express, and my Visa debit card from my bank. I've tried on multiple devices, multiple browsers. I recently even tried to add a new American Express Serve card, but was
prevented from doing so due to another error, which I can only assume is related. My information is all up to date on
Sign in to your Microsoft account , and my security questions and contact information is updated.

I've spoken with support 3 or 4 times,
tweeted at them, and received 2 escalations over the past two and a half weeks, and my problem has still not been solved. I have two case numbers: SR#(1268887434) (the latest), and SR#(1267438777). The escalation team from the latter service number never
got back to me, and I'm still waiting on the first. It truly feels like I am being run around in circles.

My latest call was today, and lasted about an hour before the escalation was submitted, still with no resolution. I've been told that my account has been blocked from making payments, but the support agent cannot find a reason, and cannot seem to remove
the block. I have no outstanding transactions and my account is in good standing.

I've spent multiple thousands of dollars on Microsoft products and services, and am really disappointed in the experience I'm having to go through just to continue making purchases. And tomorrow, upon the release of Master Chief Collection, I will have forgone
the pre-order bonus due to not being able to purchase, despite trying weeks in advance.

Please help me!

same issue here in the US, for the last 6 years ive been buying content fine, and all was fine on my xbox one since day one, now as of Monday i get this error message.. really irritating. try to go online to xbox.com in there support pages and it gives me
a error message aswell...

 

Ori and The Blind Forest Definitive Edition I

I can't purchase Ori and the blind forest DE. It keeps giving me this error PBR9002. I have enough money in my MS account for the 4.99 upgrade and it isn't accepting payments from my master card either.

same problem here, I try to pre-order Master Chief Collection but it's shows "Use a different way to pay" PBR9002

this's not my first purchase, my last purchase is Forza Horizan 2 and still no problem with it

Same error here in the Netherlands. A few weeks ago i had major sign in issues, now i can't pay for ACU. MS is driving me nuts with this service.

 

same error code for me, just on the day when my EA access ran out & now I cant renew. Good job I didnt sell my hard copy of BF4 today!

same problem here in germany. tried to buy halo masterchief collection... so if there is no fix in the next few days i will buy the game as hardcopy.

the xbox site says the error has been solved, yet i still cannot purchase.. whats up with that?!

 

Idan345 what region are you buying from and what region are you in

 

tried multiple regions (with restarting each time), tried with my actual location, tried with other regions, i dont think it matters.

 

Nightmare! was hoping one region would work. where is MS with a response
