    PBR40441 - Redeemed Gold 1 month trial through microsoft.com, not showing on Xbox One


    About a week and a half ago I redeemed the one month trial for Xbox Live Gold to play multiplayer. This was done through an offer on microsoft.com. Logging into the website Services & Subscriptions, it shows my Xbox account as being an Xbox Gold subscriber.
    However, using the same account on my Xbox One, the Gold membership is not recognized. Every time I go to play multiplayer or use a Gold feature I get booted to the "buy gold" screen or get the error PBR40441 "That's as many as you can have." Any ideas how
    to get Gold recognized on my machine?

    My monthly subs have shown through commerce as I don't believe it's considered a trial, 1 month is the lowest amount of time you can have on an actual gold subscription as you can buy 1 or 3 months...

    If you did redeem a month it should show through there, if nothing is showing there is the possibility you redeemed a trial as Ownage has said.

    Check here Commerce.microsoft.com to make sure you are gold status. Your gamertag indicates (if this is the account in question) that you are not currently Gold. Most trials carry restrictions and most of them allow only limited access to the service.
    If the site shows you as gold then you can reach out to phone support 800) 469-9269 US & Canada or chat with them here

    Thanks for your answer axemator. This problem is even preventing me from buying a gold subscription, it gave me the error "sorry, that's as many as you can have" PBR40441

    After chatting with a Microsoft rep, I was able to resolve the issue by removing and adding back my account on the Xbox One. There may have been some work done on the back end to fix the problem too. Worth the time to get in touch with support over this
    problem.

    If you did redeem a month it should show through there, if nothing is showing there is the possibility you redeemed a trial as Ownage has said.

    Xbox live code problem

    Trials are not xbox live gold so your account won't show you as having gold,trials only give you access to some gold features.

    If you want a full gold account you would need to buy either a 1 month,3 month or 12 month subscription.
