Paypal scam

two people scammed me by using a fake paypal email, inorder to buy something from me. I have photo evidence of the transactions between myself and the now scammers, is there anything to do, like get my stuff back or atleast ban their account? I lost around
$100 worth of in game items. I have their gamertags, and the photo evidence saying they would like to purchase this item inexhange for real money.

I suggest using Paypal, because this has been known to be a scam site in the past. You'll want the ease and protection of Paypal should anything happen with your purchase.

You need to provide those details to stop Paypal scams , these scams crippled and even shut down many points sites so its for their own protection

 

There is nothing anyone in the forums can do. You can report/block them using the tools provided on the console.

 

Did you try to sell something off your Microsoft Account? If so that is against the CoC and Terms of Use, so nothing would be done. But, it's best to contact Xbox Support for this issue, here: Xbox One Support | Xbox 360 Support | Xbox Live and Billing Support

 

ok thanks, i didnt want to sell the item. The people manipulated me into thinking it was ok to do so, than they used a fake paypal email and verification. They cant get banned or something?

 

You would have to file a complaint on them via the console and the enforcement team will investigate them. But keep in mind that since you also took part, you're at risk for being banned as well.

 

i guess that is true, but i was a victim of manipulation!!!! I hope it can get this fixed

 

Your best bet would be to contact the game publisher and report the issue as Microsoft\Xbox does not handle in game cosmetic trades and purchases.

If you are claiming paypal fraud I suggest you to contact the law enforcement in your area as well
