    I have a friend who wants to buy Xbox Game pass but he only has Paypal, and PayPal isn't supported in his region: Saudi Arabia. So i am wondering if i should let him buy the Xbox gift card from the PayPal store, Would it work?

    yes, gift cards work on the xbox. He'll buy the gift card and redeem the code on his xbox account.

    Once a refund has been processed it will be refunded back on the same payment method that was used in buying the game which means it will be sent back to your PayPal.
