Paypal purchase failed

I made a $6.99 purchase via paypal, my credit card was charged through paypal, but Microsoft says it failed. I'd think twice before using the Microsoft Store again....

cannot purchase black ops

I've tried on the xbox one, failed. so i went to buy on xbox.com. failed there too. tried with three different credit cards, and paypal. keep getting the error, "Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again."

what gives?

Can't authorisze the selected payment method option...

Unfortunately it happened again. I managed to make 1 purchase of 2000 points from the Xbox website than proceeded to purchase some DLC. I was short of points so I tried adding from the console and it failed to purchase. Following your steps, I re added the
PayPal account again but this time, I am unable to purchase from the Xbox website or the console.

Hey mate,

You can check your purchases made through Microsoft at the following link:
https://commerce.microsoft.com

Any purchases made through live or microsoft will show there, so if your credit card has been charged, it will show there.

I have had things go through incorrectly, however they were pretty much instantly refunded. If it isn't showing on that link I've given you, but is still showing as a debit on your credit card, then give MS a call and tell them the details. They should be
able to explain it in more detail for you

I haven't, but I tried purchasing the MSP on my console with the same CC and it worked. Besides, it also failed for PayPal which works for sure. It's on Microsoft's end no doubt. Can someone from Microsoft look into it for me?

Hi, if you check the Fortnite crew subscription inside Fortnite.
Are you not able to see the purchase again option there?

If yes and also the payment fails, please try using a different payment method.
If you have only 1 card you can create or use a PayPal account. Link your card there and then link PayPal with your Microsoft account

You can not use PayPal account created in a non US country to make purchases on Xbox US region. You'll have to create a new PayPal account with US billing address and with currency set as USD. You'll need to transfer money to that PayPal account by some
means as if you add any non US credit/debit card, payment on Xbox will again fail.

Although I do not recommend purchasing from a different region other than the region you're located, your other option would be to
purchase digital Xbox gift cards.

Thanks for the speedy response. I have everything configured as mentioned in the stickied thread correctly. I have no credit card, so the only payment option I can use is PayPal.

Is this a frequent problem on Xbox? Is there a way to purchase a 2 month code for the Xbox from the computer using PayPal? I ran out of live on previous accounts, and I have created a new one to have a clean slate, but using PayPal appears to fail.
