paypal not enough anymore?

Discus and support paypal not enough anymore? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; so paypal isn't enough for a valid payment option to purchase from the website anymore? or is there some error here? i went to download thief, but...     so paypal isn't enough for a valid payment option to purchase from the website anymore? or is there some error here?

    i went to download thief, but though it says $0.00 and i have a valid paypal on my account.. it keeps asking me to add a CC now.. did they change this? *i was thinking it might be because i'm canadian, and it keeps redirecting me to the US marketplace when
    i click 'download from xbox store'

    it always worked fine for GWG before (the only other time i had problems, was when it kept redirecting me to the US sale of BF4. i had to buy it from my console because i couldn't get to the canadian price on the website)

    Your payment instrument could not be authorized. Please contact your provider, or try a different payment option

    Also, my Paypal account has enough money in it already to cover the purchase so it would not need to use my cards.

    Hi MeridianWolf.

    According to the information I have found it appears that PayPal is sufficient as a payment method in Canada.

    If you check @
    support.xbox.com/.../manage-payment-options-online     and then follow the link for Paypal you go this page

    support.xbox.com/.../use-paypal     which clearly shows that Canada is a location where Paypal is accepted.

    Are you receiving any specific error when you are attempting to make purchases? If you can provide the text or the error number I might be able to help narrow down the underlying cause.

    One other troubleshooting item would be to log in @ Sign in to your Microsoft account and verify that Paypal is listed as a payment option on your profile. Just to
    ensure something wasn't accidentally removed. Be mindful to not post any personal details

    thanks for the reply, it worked today.. must've been some error on their end.

    i got no error code, just the 'purchase' was greyed out and it was wanting me to add a CC.

    was green today paypal not enough anymore? :)

    like i say, it worked now. it's nice to have them just queued up on my xbox.

    i think it's something to do with directing me to the US marketplace (as there's no canadian marketplace) so on deals and sales it gets a little hokey sometimes.. my thought anyway.

    i thought it was because i kept getting redirected to the US marketplace (i'm in canada)

    it used to work fine, why the change? *i liked doing this, as i get the download cued from the website and just install it whenever. aint putting paypal and a CC on it.

    Put the money in your paypal and you'll have it. No one on here is stupid enough to give you access to their paypal (and bank accounts).
