    Hello,

    Both my bank card (debit) and PayPal are linked to my Xbox. However, whenever I attempt to purchase something either directly from the Xbox One console or from the Xbox Store website, I am prompted with a message saying that the purchase cannot be authorised.
    I've tried on several different occasions, and not once has it worked.

    Please help!

    I just purchased and am now trying to set up my xbox 360...

    I can't get the payment to go through either through my card or PayPal. It's not a lack of funds and I am getting no error messages:

    What are you trying to purchase? Just Dance 3

    What error code or message are you receiving (from the console)? None

    What region is your account? California

    What region do you physically connect from? California

    Can you be sure to try making the purchase both on your console and online at this website (Xbox.com)? Let us know if it doesn't work on either.



    Is the payment option a valid debit or credit card...and not prepaid? Is the Paypal account tied to a bank account or other payment option?

    please double check if all information is correct for your payment options at account.microsoft.com also check that there are no payment issues showing at account.microsoft.com/services

    Also check if there is no additional information on recent attempts to purchase items on that same page.

    If all looks good, please try a purchase via both Xbox and xbox.com.

    If it still fails then please contact Xbox Support via Phone (or Microsoft Support Chat) they can do a more indepth look into what could be causing this.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues purchasing a console from Microsoft store. I understand that you've tried different payment methods but none of the worked. Have you tried using a different device and internet connection? If not, kindly try it as well.

    Did you move to a different region? If you did not move, you may just need to ensure that your profile is set the region where you're currently located. Allow me to share this instructions so you could check your settings for all platforms.

    To change the region in your Microsoft account profile:

    Go to the Your info page of your Microsoft account dashboard:

    https://account.live.com/editprof.aspx

    Select Edit profile info.

    Select the new Country or region from the dropdown list.

    If you've configured your profile, tried other payment methods and you're still having issues, I would recommend that you contact Xbox support for your profile to be checked further. You may follow these steps:

    Hi,

    to buy a sub you need to add an accepted payment method for recurring billing. Even if you turn off recurring billing after buying the sub.

    I doubt that ideal is an accepted payment method, but it's different in different regions. So if you try to purchase it you will see what payment methods are offered.
