    Hi!

    I have a problem and that has to do with changning my credit card as papyment! My old creditcard has been replace and therfore i need to uppdate my payment to the new one! Problem is when i have added my new creditcard i can´t seem to get to the old one
    of! How I´am suppose to do that?

    How to Manage your Xbox LIVE payment options

    Overview

    You can choose to use more than one payment method for your Xbox LIVE account. The payment options include credit cards and PayPal accounts. You can use these payment options to buy items from Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

    The 2-year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract uses only credit cards as the payment option. The other payment options like Debit Cards, Prepaid cards and PayPal are not valid for this subscription. However, you can change your payment to another credit card.

    If it is before the end of the two years and there is no credit card associated with your account, it is assumed you have terminated the subscription, and you will be charged an Early Termination Fee and any applicable taxes.

    It is easy to edit your payment options on your console or at Xbox.com

    Steps to Follow

    Add or change a payment option using your console

    1) Use your Xbox LIVE gamertag to Sign in.

    2) Proceed to Settings and then select Account.

    3) Select Manage Payment Options, and then choose either of the following:
    • If you want to add a new credit card, select Add Credit Card.
    • If you want to use your PayPal account on Xbox LIVE, select Add PayPal. You will be required to enter your PayPal username and password. Follow the instructions to add PayPal as a payment option. You cannot use PayPal as a payment option for the 2 year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract. PayPal is not available in all regions.
    4) After making changes to payment options, select Update Payment Option.

    Add or Change a payment option on Xbox.com

    1) Go to My Account.

    2) Select Payments and Billings and click on Manage Payment Options.

    3) You may be required to Sign in using your Microsoft account (email and password).

    4) Proceed to do either of the following:

    If you want to edit a payment option, select Edit.

    If you want to add a payment option, you can do either of the following:
    • Click on Add New Credit Card and enter the credit card information
    • Click on PAY with PayPal and follow the instructions.

    XOne "Use a different way to pay" problem

    Go to billing.Microsoft.com, pull up your account, remove you payment methods, then re-ad your payment methods.

    the old one most likely is linked to an active Gold Membership, either you can contact xbox Support and ask them to Change it now, or you deactivate automatic renew and purchase a Membership with your new cc after your current one expired

    Like pride said, the old card is still linked to your Gold Subscription and it won't let you remove it until a new card is linked. You should be able to add the new payment method and change it to your primary through commerce.mircosoft.com. also try these
    instructions support.xbox.com/.../replace-xbox-live-payment-option

    If none of this works call in and they will get it done for you.

    I find it very frustrating that I'm trying to resolve the expired cc issue and all I get is roadblocks, vague information and told to contact support with a 90 minute callback time. My Gold account is suspended because I can't make a payment yet Microsoft
    makes it impossible for me to fix the problem unless I call. Amazon and Google Store don't make me call support to take my money. Why can't I check a box that says use this credit card as default? This is absolutely crappy design and customer service. I'm
    about to go to Android over such poor design and customer service.

  7. Probably the best way is actually through Customer Service Call-In, rather than suppoort chat as handling credit cards is more sensitive to handle with agents on a chatroom I don't think they'll deal with that. Sounds to me like they just need to change
    your subscription ro your new card and remove the old one.

    Going to Android because of poor customer service or poor design is entirely up to you. I've been an Xbox LIVE member for almost 6 years and I don't get entirely good customer service in regards to the resolution I need on a problem. But at the end of the
    day I find a way of resolving my problem and regardless to the customer service being currently poor I stick by them. I love the games on the Xbox 360/Xbox One. I cannot fault anything with either of them when the service is running smoothly. Yes it's stressing
    that the customer service aren't reallydoing a good job at the minute, but I think that's down to how busy they are having to overlook everything said because they have to deal with others after you so they try to get the job done as quick as possible, who
    knows?

    Consider the option of calling them on the phone and go to the billing department and tell them the problem you have, I have a feeling it'll get sorting quite quick

    Hi,

    I got it a Xbox 360 and I tried make the signature of a month Xbox Live, but on the first time something happened and not work, so I tried again but I put for 12 months and work and was debited of my Credit Card, after 2 month was debited again one month
    of my Credit Card, How can I fix this?

    For future reference you should create your own thread detailing your issue. If you have a billing problem then you'll need to contact phone support for your region as only they can assist.

    For billing issues, I find it easier to contact support on the phone when online options don't seem to be working.
