    trying to download a game and it tells me i have no payment method attached to my account. so i added a different card to my account but it keeps telling me i have no payment method. please help because i have spent an hour on this and nothing is working.
    also this keeps posting in the wrong category but when i try to change it, it says post failed.

    payment options trouble

    Hello, BUDDHA POWERS. You should most definitely call Xbox Support. Your issue is probably associated to billing information, and if that has changed, your automatic renewal my have not been going through which would have suspended your account for non-payment.
    They can transfer any past due balance and get you going again where you left off. Good luck! But this is something you definitely need to call in for.

    I don't know if your problem is with the microsoft store or with the browser but i give to you solutions for both cases

    Don't worry too much players like you have the same issue getting this error message while trying to buy Minecraft can be frustrating, but don't worry, there are several things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

    Check your payment information:

    Double-check that all your payment information is correct and complete, including your billing address, card number, expiry date, and CVV code.
    Ensure that your card is activated and has sufficient funds available for the purchase.
    If you're using a prepaid card, confirm it hasn't expired or reached its spending limit.

    Try a different payment method:

    If you have another available payment method, like a different credit card or PayPal, try using that instead. Sometimes, issues can arise with specific payment methods.

    Clear your browser cache and cookies:

    Outdated cache and cookies can sometimes interfere with online transactions. Clear your browser's cache and cookies before trying again.

    Use a different web browser:

    Try purchasing Minecraft on a different web browser than the one you're currently using. Some browsers might have compatibility issues with specific websites.

    Disable VPN or extensions:

    If you're using a VPN or browser extensions, try disabling them temporarily to see if they're causing any interference.

    Restart your device:

    Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Restart your computer or phone before trying again.

    Log out and log in again
    The second step is as obvious as they come. Nonetheless, an inexperienced user might panic and forget about it. Namely, if the system has issues with your active account, you might resolve this little stall by simply logging off and logging in again.     Check your funds and re-establish a paying method
    More times than not, the “We’re having trouble processing your purchase” error is a temporary occurrence. However, if the same message pop-ups every time you try purchasing something from the Store, there might be something else at hand. Firstly, we suggest checking your funds.

    In addition, consider deleting you paying method (debit/credit card, PayPal, etc.) and establishing it again. This might take some time, but the paying method might get locked down due to a service error. You can do all of that, here.

    Make sure region/time settings and pay account are properly set

    As we go deeper into the possible causes list, it’s important that you come from a region which allows purchases. The rules for this vary, so there are some games or apps you’ll be able to obtain regardless of your geo-location. On the other hand, lot’s of games are not available globally, so make sure you’re able to get the game in the first place.

    Also, you can change your region and time to match the account settings and payment options. Namely, your account credentials need to be set to the same location and ZIP code number as your debit/credit card. For example, you won’t be able to pay for a game with the foreign card.

    Reset the Store’s cache

    Microsoft Store is a native Windows 10 app and works in the background all the time. This leads to pilling up data which, consequently, might follow with an error. Because of that, we suggest resetting Microsoft Store’s cache.

    If you’re not sure how to do it, follow the steps we provided below:

    Press Windows key + S to open Windows Search.
    WSReset.exe and press Enter.

    Try purchasing the Store content again.

    Trouble processing payment

    I'm not sure if it was the same error code, but about a year ago I had a similar message when trying to purchase a game which said that it was having trouble processing my payment. I knew there was no issue with my debit card, so I wasn't sure what
    was causing it either. I wound up backing out of the Store and left it alone until later that evening. Then I tried again, a few hours later, and it went through fine. Just thought I'd add this, in case you might want to try again and see if it does go through.
