    Payment processing issue / region


    Hello,

    I wanted to purchase Ori and the Blind Forest on the store but it appears to be not possible.

    The problem might be the following : I'm currently living in Germany and have a French Xbox account. Since I have a German debit card and not a credit card I couldn't enter my billings infos.

    So I tried to buy the game with the French credit card of my wife but it didn't work. The console basically says that I need to use another payment method to proceed.

    In the end I've tried PayPal but a credit card needs to be registered in order to put PayPal info's in the console.

    I thought about using vouchers to top up my Microsoft account but it appears I can't use German vouchers on a French Xbox account.

    If somebody has an idea it would be great Payment processing issue / region :) thanks for all the help you may provide me !

    It certainly sounds that way. They should know that you never give your details to anyone on the forum. Plus that Gold has always been paid for in currency, it shouldn't be affected by being in the beta.

    Phone support are the folk who are going to be able to help, as they are the ones who will be able to access your payment options.

    Cannot add payment option to my account!

    Hi there,

    if the games are available in the Turkish store for xbox they should be available to download.

    No I'm not sure it's related to that, but there are often download issues and payment issues when region of the account and physical regions or payment option regions do not match.

    The region in which your payment option was issued and your Store region need to match

    If you are experiencing an issue where the region in which your payment option was issued and your Store region do not match, you may need to update your payment information to match the region of your Store.



    To do this, you can follow these steps:



    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account on the Xbox website.

    2. Go to the Payment & billing tab.

    3. Select Payment options.

    4. Select Add a payment option, and then follow the steps to add a new payment option that matches the region of your Store.



    If you continue to experience issues, you can contact Xbox support for further assistance.

    If you are changing regions to.take advantage of price.differences dont

    As the error said.you can't buy out of region content

    You can't buy uk content.with a Australian payment method

    Have you tried in a browser rather than on console (or vice versa)?
    yes and it basically comes out to the same issue.

    console gives me the region must match error (which it does) and browser just says that my payment cannot be processed.

    Being unable to process a payment can occur for a number of reasons such as:

    • Insufficient funds
    • Wrong card information
    • Billing address and Xbox are not in the same region
    • Possible connection issues

    You could try deleting and re-entering your payment method to see if this resolves the issue. I would also suggest contacting Microsoft Support directly in order to resolve the issue quickly:

    There is currently an internal issue with the data stored for your account which is preventing a deposit. Our deposit process cannot correctly determine the primary billable account to deposit into for your Microsoft Account, and thus aborts the process.
    Generally, this may be caused by users creating multiple different payments in different regions using their Microsoft Account as the payment method. This is an issue that we are working on resolving with another team since we are not able to fully access
    the database containing billable account information. At the moment, we have not received an estimate on when this problem will be resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience.
