I have two different credit cards on my Xbox Live account. Neither of them work, although both have money within them. I've used my console, PC, tablet, and phone to attempt a purchase of the current free Xbox 360 game on the Xbox One (Far Cry 2) and have
not succeeded once throughout the month.

This happens to me almost every month. If there is a reliable and or permanent solution to this, it would be great to read about it. I would really like to get Far Cry 2 by today. I've always wanted to play it as I'm a fan of the Far Cry franchise.

Do you have enough to cover the taxes and surcharged of the purchase. What happens when you try to buy something ?

Does your account region and actual region and console region and language region match if not that would be why

You must change the acount regions at https://accounts.microsoft.com and migrate my region

Then match your other settings

If you dont live in an xbox live region it wont work

Yes i have. It's quite unfortunate. But i will try removing my Xbox Live account so that i can re-download it. Hopefully that works.

Hi Zramy,

Have you tried to get these on the website? There have been issues with some people not being able to get the 360 titles. Try

removing and re-adding your profile on the Xbox console. You can go to the
account website and update your address sometimes just need to update billing information which is the address.

Well I have working payment option on my account, I am buying games on xbox store without problem, I came onto this problem only on free games for xbox 360 with backward compatibility recently.
