    payment options for Canada


    I bought an ASUS tablet/notebook combination with Windows 8 which has XBOX "music" and "video" apps, but when I try to add a credit card to purchase a membership I am denied because the payment options are US. I'm in Canada... it won't allow me to put ONTARIO
    as my province. Is this membership available to Canadians? And how do I change the payment options to allow for Canadian provinces? Thanks.

    Cant play Xbox Live with Gold membership.

    Just phone up support and adjust your payment option. In the US/Canada is 1-800-4-MY-XBOX.

    I had the same issue and then I noticed that my region was set incorrectly on my XB1. Check that in Settings and make sure it is set to Canada.

    I have the same issue in the Netherlands where the XBox One is not officially rolled out yet.

    Cannot even subscribe to XBox Live Gold because Credit Cards from countries where the machine isn't launched yet are neither accepted via the XBox One nor on the website.

    Im in BC, Canada, using mastercard and have tried on xbox console, xbox.com and on billing.microsoft. On billing.microsoft there is no "Add new payment method option.
