    Payment method issue


    So... I added a credit card, everything seems fine in my windows account. However, when I want to buy a game in the Xbox 360 platform it says that I don't have any payment method, and when I try to add one, the web automatically chooses Spain as my country
    but all my data is from Chile...

    What should I do?

    How can I buy games?

    XOne "Use a different way to pay" problem

    Go to billing.Microsoft.com, pull up your account, remove you payment methods, then re-ad your payment methods.

    Profit.(for Microsoft)

    Hello,

    To start off, sorry if I chose the wrong category for my post (didnd't see "Xbox one billining" or anything of this sort.

    So, the T: I have a MasterCard (debit). It's linked to my Microsoft account, but when I try to purchase a "Xbox Gold" membership it does not show on my Payment Methods. I looked/played around with the settings of my Xbox one, Microsoft/Xbox one accounts, but
    at the end, it lets me add my card only to my Microsoft account. I can't use it on my Xbox one (console), neither on the website. I am from Bulgaria and only Microsoft lets you choose the option "Bulgaria". My questions are: Is it because of my location?
    Can I trick it in some way?

    I tried buying it online, same results.

    Hello Tryp1e,

    I don't know of that error code (?), but if your payment wasn't authorized you will need to:

    • Check your billing address (needs to match the one that your bank has on record)
    • Contact your bank (to find out why they didn't approve the charge (IE: insufficient funds, suspected fraud, etc)

    If you are trying to make a purchase through the store on your xbox you can also try to make the purchase from the PC instead (or vice versa) and see if you're still experiencing issues.

    I'm currently in the US, the account and payment regions are the same. haven't tried a different payment method cuz I rather use only this card for online payments, and yesm the addresses should be the same.

    Additional information is needed, please tell me:

    Where are you physically located? (country)
    Your Microsoft account region and payment region are the same as your physical location as well?
    Did you tried using a completely different payment method?
    And the preferred billing address for your Microsoft account is the same as the one that appears in your bank statement?

    Due to Bulgaria not being an Xbox Live supported region, that would explain the issues purchasing Xbox Live Gold. Due to this, we're unable to assist in troubleshooting. Hope this helps
