    Payment Method Declined


    So I have attempted to make a purchase on the microsoft store, but it says my payment provider did not authorize this purchase, but I am using a prepaid Visa card. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    (I put this in the Games & Apps section because it was the closest thing I could find relating to my question.)

    I would suggest contacting the merchant or the prepaid card directly to find out why.

    I didn’t have enough money left on the balance.

    Hi There,

    Usually with any kind of prepaid card like visa, master card etc they will require you to register the card online, thereby activating it. Until you do that then it won't be authorized and you can't use it for online purchasing.
