Payment for Multiplayer on "Free to Play" Games?

Hello,

i would like to know why there are Games that are 100% Free to Play and still require me to pay 9.99€/month to play them?

For this Example i was trying to play Paladins, which when i asked on their Forums directly why this is the case, they threw a tantrum and perma banned me without answering my Question as its "false/wrong".

Also i would like to know why i can download Games im not even able to play until i pay ~60€ for them.

The Microsoft Store seems very outdated overall and the lack of Order really cracked me up over Christmas.

Things that cracked me up:

-You can download "Demo" and "Beta" Games that are no longer playable or
ended the Beta early 2016!

-You can't see which Games you can Play for free when you have Gold, apart from the 1-2 Games showing up in the Store.

-The "Games ready to Install" Page should only show Games according to your Account standing (e.g. having Gold or not)

-Games that require you to Play with 2 or more in Multiplayer, but have a dead Community should have a Warning attached (e.g. Happy Dungeons, searched 30min found not even a single Person)

Overall it took me more time figuring out the Controls of some Games then i spend playing them. Also some Games that are "Free" aren't really "Good" like Dead Rising 3, instead of a Tutorial or something you just run to the nearest AI Character and clear
Zombies and then you find yourself in a 1v1 against this heavily Stong Monk who just kills you. That pretty much lead to me never touching the whole Series ever again as i would not want to play a Game that kicks you right in the nuts and then tells you "you
have 1 try left until you have to buy". But i cant blame you for that one.

Also i dont understand how the Control Settings work in some Games, as i was looking for "slower camera movement speed" and "no twitching back and forth", found only some akward settings which none of them helped and at the end my Controls where over the
whole Controller. Im a PC Gamer and i wanted to give it a try, but i prefer my Keyboard and Mouse.

The Division really gave me a hard time.. zoomed in, just on top of the Guys head, pressed fire and the camera went 2m to the left.. i raged so hard.

It is free you have two options

1st download via the console and play as you like

2Nd put a payment option onbfile and download for free

For all website purchases you need a payment option on file even free ones

 

Xbox LIve and Free-To-Play Games

I am not sure exactly what you meant, but the subscription is for online multiplayer games. In Play Station, you would need a similar PS+ service for online multiplayer. The only way to play free online multiplayer is to play it on a PC.

 

On-line multiplayer games require you to have Xbox Live Gold, simple.

Even the free games require Gold to play online.

Some games have much more in depth controller customization than others.

Some games have in depth tutorials, others have basic ones, some you learn as you play along.

As new games get released, gamers move away from older ones leaving their MP to slowly die and the developers to close down the servers.

These things all happen, you just have to live with it.
