payment and double up account confusion

These are very good questions, firstly Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can be shared between accounts only if they're on the same Xbox by setting it as the 'home' Xbox. However, if you have two separate Xbox's then you'll have to pay for two separate accounts.

As for payments, make sure the gift card is a payment option on the console itself, then you should be able to switch the primary payment option, more information can be found here.

Several people have reported this message, and I received one as well. Payment was already deducted from my account. Use the link they provided in the text message (or log into your account) to make sure the payment shows up on your Microsoft account
as a completed payment. Continue to monitor the account, and contact customer support if you are double billed. See you in Anthem!!
