    So what your saying is not only do we have to pay for our subscriptions, but now we have to pay for a game pass just to play a backwards compatible game or digital copy!? Thanks microsoft ya screwed us again. Well looks like I'm going to playstation!!

    The game pass is entirely optional. It's just a way to access games you don't already own. Otherwise you can still play the games if you just purchase it.

    @ OP, I'm gonna assume that you're 10 since you don't understand the game pass. When you're on Playstation try to avoid the Playstation Now service. It will confuse you. lol

    You do not have to pay again to play backwards compatible games. If a game that you have is backwards compatible and on the list and you do not subscribe to the game pass, you can still play your game if you already own it.

    It's basically Netflix for games.

    You don't need it to play bc or digital games.

    Might be worth actually understanding something before going on a rant about it.

    You do not have to pay again to play backwards compatible games. If a game that you have is backwards compatible and on the list and you do not subscribe to the game pass, you can still play your game if you already own it.
