    Hi all,

    I have something like 30€ on my microsoft account that I won't use for I don't buy anything on the store.

    I would like to know if it is be possible to pay for the xbox live Gold membership with this money or if it was just a waste?

    So annoying sort your **** out microsoft were paying customers. Ive been trying all day to renew my gold membership with this same stupid error.

    No you can't use money in your Microsoft account to buy live.

    Just keep an eye out for sales on the dash,there's sure to be something you could spend it on.

    Yes, you have to pay for a gold membership. Consoles come with a free month of gold when you create your account, but after that you have to pay.

    Yes, it's possible to have 2 accounts with Xbox LIVE Gold on the same console. You'll have to pay for each account you wish to have a gold membership.

    This process will change with the Xbox One where only one account needs to have a gold membership and then any account that signs into that console (or accounts that you make that are free) will automatically have a gold membership while signed into that Xbox
    One console.

    Do you pay for the Gold membership on his account or does someone esle? It sounds like he is sharing a Gold membership at home and it's not actually linked to his account, as it should work if it is.

    Can you confirm this?
