Paying the deficit with Microsoft Credit

Hi there,

I am kind of freaking out here.
My godson had this xbox account and it says it has a deficit of about 9 euros. Since I expect this would be easy to pay with the microsoft account, since it is saying it doesn't have enough credit on it, I added 10 euros to his account with my credit card.
Now it seems that when he goes that he still has to choose how he want to pay: by debit/credit car - by paypal - by mobile.

What about the 10 euros I added?

Where is the time gone where someone would just buy a game and play it ... my goodness. (yes I am a bit frustrated since I have my one day off in a year and now I'm filling it with this kind of nonsense) (forgive me in advance for the frustration)

The 10 euros would be on his account, but overdue balances cannot be paid with funds from the Microsoft account balance.

Hello again, paying with Paypal is not the same thing as paying with Microsoft account credit, by definition the system does not allow you to pay subscriptions with account credit, and at the moment these are the payment methods accepted in the Microsoft system.

Only the methods below are supported.

Credit cards.

Prepaid credit cards.

Debit cards (not available in all regions)

PayPal accounts (not available in all regions)

Direct debit (Germany only)

Note: in some cases Microsoft has to follow local rules of the countries in which it operates.

Are you paying with Credit Card or MSC (Microsoft Currency)?

If it didn't give you the option to pay with the Microsoft credits and credit/debit card it will all come from debit/credit card when payment due.
