I have to send my day one edition xbox one in because it wont turn on anymore, and you are sending me a "similar device back" Is there any reason why I cannot cant an xbox one S in return. I told my online help I would pay the difference since im already
paying 134 dollars just to get it fixed. Then in a couple more years I am just going to have to buy the S version anyways. Ive also had to buy 6 xbox 360 back in the day because of red ring and other problems over the course of the years. I just find it bad
that I cant even get an upgrade I am willing to pay for when the xbox only lasted less than 3 years. When i literally been paying for xbox live since day 1 of the original Xbox release.

New Xbox "Services" Put Shame to Xbox - SHAME ON YOU MICROSOFT!

SHAME ON YOU MICROSOFT! great heading, to go along with microsofts suck @@@ repair service. it has been 27 days since sending in harddrive for replacement on 5 week old xbox 360s.and yes i'm paying for services that i don't want while my xbox is broken.

Not happy

My xbox has yet again come across the 3 red lights and is unusable. I had the same issue a few years back and the repair service was free. Im not paying £65+ just for another repair. Microsoft designed the console in the first place so why should thier customers
have to pay to get a fault fixed by Microsofts initial mistake.

I'm not sure if Microsoft will offer repair service in this case (if they do, you will definitely have to pay for the repair cost).

Hello YellowGrain631 I'm on the xbox service site now and I see nothing to say they wont take your xbox 360 to repair. You will have to pay for it though you can find the link here

If the controller is still under warranty, they could replace it. But if it's not, you'd have to pay for the repair.

You are best of getting in touch with the Device service and replacement service. If you are no longer under warranty, you may have to pay to have your Xbox serviced/repaired.

I apologise deeply for the inconvenience you have experienced as part of the Xbox Support system, I know it must be difficult to be told to pay for an issue that you reported whilst you were still in warranty.

At this point, there isn't much we can do on the Community Support Forums, except wait for an Official Staff member to drop-by and look into what can be done.

Of course - the right action would be to waiver the replacement fee, as the issue was reported numerous times during the warranty period, however, it is at Microsoft's discretion as to whether this takes place.
