Paying for something I didn't ordered

Hello,

I used my one-month free subscription of Xbox One Gold.

I assumed that it would cancel itself in the end, like many other services I used in the past, because it is the only way that makes sense.

Today I was going to renew my subscription but it didn't accept my payment. I looked on the website, and it says that I owe 11,36€ for Xbox Live. How???

We pay for the console, we pay for the games, we pay for Gold when we want to use it... are we also supposed to pay for Gold without asking for it?

Please help me. I need to solve this problem as soon as possible. The contact information for Microsoft/Xbox One in Portugal is ridiculous and this things aren't cheap to be joked with. Now I have an expensive game and an expensive console, without use.

If anyone knows any other way to contact support please tell me! Thank you in advance!

Better place to pre order than Game.co.uk

So Amazon are alright then? I've never pre-ordered a game with them before but got one pre-ordered the now, paying for first class delivery too. It's the one game I want the most this year so I would be absolutely gutted if I didn't get it day one.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to troubleshoot the issue.

If you purchased V-bucks directly from the Microsoft Store for your son's Microsoft Account, then the V-bucks should be directly deposited in-game. Sometimes it can take a few minutes after purchase to appear in-game. In the meantime, while the Xbox
is on, go ahead and do a hard reset and power cycle to
the console. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds or until it shuts down. Once the Xbox is off, remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and wait 60 seconds before turning on the
Xbox. Holding down the power button on the console to force a hard reset is an important step.

Also, make sure the purchase was completed for the correct account by logging into that account here https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/

can be redeemed here. When you redeem the code, make sure that you are signed in with the correct account you want to apply the code for.
