    Payday 2 Red 'Static'


    I am playing with the same system, same TV and same everything else that I have played Payday 2 with for over a year now. I played it last week and it was fine. I tried to play last night and everything was right and looked fine in the opening all the way
    up until the Heist I chose actually started, then the screen is glitchy and dark with red lines and red 'static' everywhere. I am on an Xbox One X and a TCL Roku 4K Smart TV. I tried a different HDMI cable and a different port on the TV, uninstalled and reinstalled
    the game and all DLC, tried different Heists, plus reset and hard reset the Xbox all with the same result. No other game is doing this either. Can anyone please help me? Payday is one of my favorite games to play! Payday 2 Red 'Static' :(

    Exact same thing with my boyfriends copy. He has it digital, different tv, and the xbox one x

    I'm not sure what's going on, but he did everything you did and nothing helped it.

    It also gives him bad headaches which sucks. Really hope we can get this fixed.

    Have you found a fix for this? My boyfriend is having the exact same issue you are having, and he has basically done the same things you have done to try and fix it. Let us know if you find out anything.

    Everyone, I got on Payday 2 just now, and it seems to be fixed. I didnt do anything, just got on tonight and it isn't messed up anymore. Did anyone else's game clear up on its own too?

    I promise to keep everyone posted. I am at a loss though. I have tried changing all kinds of settings on the Xbox and TV, deleted games to free up space, reinstalled the game several times, restarted the Xbox... what is really concerning is, a friend of
    mine and I have the same model of TV and Xbox, and our settings are the same. His copy of Payday plays fine. Only difference is he has a hard disk copy where mine is digital. I logged into my account on my wife's Xbox One S on a different TV, and Payday looked
    fine on it so it isn't my account. My friend is loaning me his hard copy of the game and I am going to try it. As of now my digital copy and all DLC is deleted off my Xbox. I will update again when I see how this goes. If anyone has any ideas I haven't tried
    please help!
