Might I suggest to make back-up saves either via the cloud or a USB drive in the future.

Hey, Krechzy! This thread is pretty old. If you didn't save your progress to the Cloud saved games, then it was likely on the old console and cannot be recovered unless you still have that old hard drive. If you would like to get further support for any
other issues, please do post a new thread detailing what you're running into and troubleshooting you've already completed. This way we can get you the individual support that works best on the forums.

Ok so, My old Xbox 360 gave out and I had to get a new one... And when I re-downloaded Payday 2 off the game store, all my progress was lost which is bull crap including I was level 48.. Kinda crap how it doesnt save to the profile.. So much time lost. Is
there any way you can give me my level back? It took me like 3 days playing time to get that high and with all the stuff I had.. Please fix this

Hey there Lionize,

If your game crashed while it was autosaving, it is possible that the data became corrupted.

Can you double check your Hard Drive by going to Settings > System > Storage > Select your storage device > Games & Apps

• See if your save game is still showing there.

• • If it is, I would try
    Redownloading your profile and seeing if you can play your save then.
  • If it is showing but has a yellow (!) next to it, then it is corrupt and that data is not salvageable.
