PayDay 2 Crimewave Edition Xbox One - Keeps Freezing, Won't Connect To Games Online

There is no Payday 2: Crimewave Edition forum for whatever reason...

this game just game out a day ago and myself and thousands of others are having this issue.

When you try to play the game online it freezes, and/or won't connect to game sessions.

No it is not my internet connection. I have already checked and its 20mbps upload nearly 6mbps download.

why is it called payday 2 CRIMEWAVE EDITION if it dosnt contain ANY dlc? why didnt they discount just payday 2 instead of crimewave edition

 

Like you said, loads of others are reporting issues, I've seen tons of complaints myself on Twitter etc.

I've got the game myself but not going to bother until they sort the problems out. Not seen any word of when a fix/update will arrive though.

Not surprising she deleted the tweet but I think the damage has been done, loads saw it.

Absolutely shocking to speak to their customers like that. I'm sorry I parted with my cash, loved the game on the 360 and really look forward to playing it again but starting to wonder if they will actually bother fixing it.

 

She's up on her high horse. I'm sure the job she does has given her an inflated ego if that remark is any indication. I am a producer myself, I've produced video game based films you have likely heard of and I don't use my position to dominate, belittle
or taunt others. Especially those that pay my paycheck. I treat people with respect unless they are some kind of a-hole...

That having been said, I will give them a chance to fix it. I do have Payday 2 on Steam but I just don't feel like playing it on there. I bought the Crimewave edition for a reason... at least I have the 360 version if all else fails.

 

Its only crimenet that is broken, if you have mates who can play it it is great and works perfectly.

Granted the game shouldnt have been released as it is and that tweet is just shocking, she should be fired immediatly.

If anyone needs someone to play with send me a FR, i have been having loads of fun on this.

 

Hmmm I've been quite tempted by this as it looks a similar experience to L4D coop wise and I never played it on the 360 but it sounds a bit broken at the moment.

Out of interest how does it play with the AI? Is it acceptable until the MP is fixed?

 

The AI is horrid, unfortunately.

 

I am also having murders trying to get a game online, if ur friends aint on forget about trying to get a game unless you host it urself then u might be playing on ya own coz online is knackered.The AI in this game are proper dolly dimple(simple)all they
do is shoot and on ocasion pick ya up,picking up bags opening boxes and being helpfull they dont do.I loved this game on the 360 but fingers crossed they pull there fingers out and sort it

 

I just read on Twitter that they are working on a fix, no time frame for when it will be implemented ;(
