PayDay 2 Crimewave Edition Xbox One - Keeps Freezing, Won't Connect To Games Online

There is no Payday 2: Crimewave Edition forum for whatever reason...

this game just game out a day ago and myself and thousands of others are having this issue.

When you try to play the game online it freezes, and/or won't connect to game sessions.

No it is not my internet connection. I have already checked and its 20mbps upload nearly 6mbps download.

why is it called payday 2 CRIMEWAVE EDITION if it dosnt contain ANY dlc? why didnt they discount just payday 2 instead of crimewave edition

 

I been reading on other sites and just as you said it's happing to alot of other players. My guess is that the game studio is working on a update to fix this. I give it a few more days.

 

Yes, I have the same problem. I can not connect to multiplayer. I have a connection error message ...

 

yes I'm also having this problem i have not been able to join a lobby always fails and no one really joins mines they need to fix this already before i sell this game its been 5 days!!!!

 

I'm having the same problem. How can they drop the ball so badly? I would understand if it was a new game but I already own it on 360 and PC and have never had an issue. shouldnt this be put right with a hotfix? This is a multiplayer game yet the connectivity
is broaken... To my that's a prety big mistake and to take weeks rather than days/hours shows a lack of commitment to your customers who have paid there hard earned money to buy a broken game that shows no sign of being fixed... Refund?

Ive talked to some people at eb games and they said its awesome online, they're probably lying because i cant go online to play without the hand pointer freezing every 5 seconds, doesnt matter what you do with it.. then it says error, failed to connect to
game or what ever. Probably wont buy another overkill game unless they fix it promptly because its a MULITPLAYER GAME. I may as well go to a garage sale and buy a blender without any blades inside it. "If you care about your customers, they will care about
you".

 

Ok guys, it's been a week now since you broke the game with your awesome update and we still can't get online. Could we at the very least get an official update on what's going on/when it will be fixed please as this is hella frustrating...

Quick update from Overkill's twitter: "The patch is in QA now being tested by us and Microsoft. It will come as soon as it has finished testing"

I get this freezing too!

Such a shame as it has ruined this experience for me.

I am seriously thinking about returning it to the store for a refund.
