Payday 2: Crimewave Edition coming to Xbox One in June

The new version will include post-launch content added to the PC edition over the past 12 months, plus improved graphical quality.

"We're relaunching Payday 2 for the new platforms," producer Almir Listo explained. "You'll get a year's worth of post-launch updates for the PC version available from the get-go - that's both the paid-for and free content.

why is it called payday 2 CRIMEWAVE EDITION if it dosnt contain ANY dlc? why didnt they discount just payday 2 instead of crimewave edition

To clarify, did you purchase >>Payday 2: Crimewave Edition<< or >>Payday
2: Crimewave Edition - The Big Score<< bundle? I'm guessing the former as you say it was a Games with Gold discount and according to >>Major
Nelson's blog<< the discount was for the base game. Provided that's the case, the DLC was not included and if you would like the DLC, you will have to purchase it separately.

We had some fun times I remeber on the 360 version, not sure about this though.

I remember some games with you, Codger, Az, my Mrs and a few other forum regulars, we did have some fun times.

I personally really enjoyed the game, it was just something a bit different from most online games out there but if any game needed people talking it was this, brilliant then but played it with people who didn't talk and you didn't know what they were up
to and it could make life real difficult!

Playing on your own was just a major headache, AI were some of the worst I've seen in a game, in fact to call them useless would be kind lol

I'd definitely pick this up again if enough people I knew will grab it, would definitely be up for some more games, if hardly no-one bothers this time then I'll leave alone.

 

Yes I guess I could be tempted, but as you say its needs a decent team of communicators, I remember Mrs Lofty was quite the Hiestress!

There again who knows, maybe this time they have improved the AI, I can only hope

My wife has also said she will pick it up again if there's enough of us so we could get a few of the old team back together again.

 

At first I was cynical about yet another last gen re-imagining but I do remember this being really fun to play and that's what you want out of your games.

Really good fun with some tense times.

 

While I've never had the opportunity to play the Payday series myself, I've had close friends talk about it at length during a cook-out, so I will definitely be looking into this game more than I have in the past as a result.
