pay twice for game pass on a same account

There is Game Pass for consoles, Game Pass for PC, and Game Pass Ultimate which includes both console and PC Game Pass as well as cloud gaming. Did you purchase Game Pass for PC or Ultimate? If you just purchased Game Pass for console, then you wouldn't be able to use it on a PC.

You need to connect the email that has the gamepass subscription, in your microsoft store.

Open your Store, upper right corner, click on your avatar and then enter your account that has the subscription.

Do the same process in the xbox app.

As stated, Gold and Game Pass are 2 separate things. Gold has never included Game Pass. So you're not paying for the same thing twice. You may want to look into upgrading to Ultimate Game Pass though in order to save a few bucks.

I have bought the digital version FIFA 22 ultimate edition. Why do I still need to get the game pass? Then it's like paying twice for the same game.

You won't pay twice. What will happen is that, when you get the console, you will activate the 24 months of Game Pass (whilst you pay for it monthly, the entire 24 months is added to your account as soon as you go through the initial console setup)....you then won't make your regular, current payment until after that 24 months.

In my case: I was subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate when I bought my Series X via All Access last May. My account now shows that my next Game Pass payment will be July 2023.
