Pay past due for account?

So ive been dealing with issues with the current setup when they automatically put you on a subscription when buying live. Last couple times i contacted support, they cleared the past due balance, i bought more live, no issues. Now im told it cant be done,
i have to wait 60 days for the past due to clear off then i can buy more gold. They literally told me i can either wait 60 days or just pay the past due. Im supposed to pay for a month subscription i dont want, didnt receive, and wont receive to spend more
on top to continue with live, or i could just keep making new accounts and repeating the free trials and never pay for live again. Just throwing this out there on the forums because i still have no idea why the company would rather force me to exploit flaws
to use their service freely instead of fixing a minor issue and keep a paying customer. For sure im letting everyone know buying live really isnt worth it just keep making throw away accounts. And for those who wanna keep it social, use your old xbox tag on
the xbox app on a smartphone, then you can msg your buddies your throwaway acct tags for game invites! Easy walkaround for constant free gaming.

Was told it falls off in 60 days, in the meantime just use an alternate email to make a new acct, get gold 1mo for a dollar, repeat 1 more month, then you can continue with your original account. Or just buy a playstation which im seriously considering
now and Christmas is right around the corner lol

Unless you have signed up for a subscription yourself you are under no obligation to pay it

Still doesnt make sense to force your customers to pay for a past due balance when they didnt have the service, pro rated is one thing but in what world would you pay for a month of service that you never had(only a couple days till it shut off) then have
to pay on top to continue with service, your essentially forcing a double payment for 1 month of service.

The thing is the easiest way to get around the auto renew is to go and buy prepaid cards from retailers.

When making the purchase online with a credit or debit card it does bring up a box that says this subscription will automatically renew at the end of the current subscription.

They were actually being nice and clearing the past due for you in the past.

If you wait the 60 days there is a good chance that the payment option that you used to make the purchase will be banned from ever being able to be used with any MS account.
