Paused screen when attempt to authenticate internet on XBOX

We understand that you are trying to use alternate MAC Address to your Xbox console. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner for you to get back to gaming.

1. May we confirm if what Xbox Console are we using or is this Xbox app?
   
2. When you said you will have to authenticate or enter an alternate MAC address, does it mean you have issues with your current network? Or you are trying to optimize your network?
   
3. May we ask if you have issues on Xbox Network? Please take a screenshot or picture and post it in here:
   
   • Kindly go to Xbox Console's Settings.
     
   • Select Network and Network Settings.
     
   • Look for NAT Type.
     
   • Please reply with a screenshot or picture of the Xbox Network.
     
4. Please take a screenshot or picture about the error you get when you have the paused screen.
   
5. Have you tried to clear the Alternate MAC address? Please follow the steps below:
   
   • Go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Advanced settings.
     
   • Select Alternate MAC address.
     
   • Select Clear.
     
   • Restart your Xbox console.

So I'm talking about my xbox live account. It will disconnect me from the internet and when I go to reconnect the internet, it will ask for more authentication needed. Then, it will take me to a black screen when I press Authenticate. And with the hotspot,
im not too concerned about it. I only use it when this issue happens, id be nice if the xbox live wouldn't do this so often.

This is probably the developers implementing this. It kind of makes sense for the game to attempt to pause when pressing the Xbox button since you are stopping play briefly.

There are multiple things that could make your download slower. For example, another Xbox and a computer and mobile devices all using your internet connection. This could mean that the connection to your Xbox is slower. Also, when you are downloading the
update, do you leave it on the download screen, or play other games online? If you play other games online while waiting for the update to download, the download will pause. You should leave the update screen open when downloading it.
