    Hello!

    To whom it may concern,

    I have encountered an issue with my Xbox series One S. This console has never caused me any kind of issue before and this is very new to me. Earlier today, 12/31/22, the Xbox worked perfectly but when I tried to use it again around 10:30-10:40pm EST; I came across a “Your device had been paused” message. I checked with the household to make sure I hadn’t discovered a firewall or anything.

    And so, I came searching Microsoft for a solution. At first, I just did a normal reset. Shut off the console and unplugged the system for 2 minutes before plugging it back in and trying again. This did not work. Second suggested fix was to factory reset my device and save my apps/games. I did this and now I’m at the true crossroad. I have set up the language, country, time zone, time, and date just as I would on a new out of box Xbox. Yet, when I try to get past the internet, it’s still paused.

    Is there any way for someone to help me with this? Please let me know!

    4. Make sure to use to check the available contact times of the support.
    5. Select the "Contact Us" button
    6. Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

    LATENCY ISSUES!!!

    I had the same issue while connecting my console using wifi. Solution? I started using wired connection and, boom! Problem fix. Also if you have many users or devices connected it can be an issue.

    My internet provider allows me to pause devices connected to my network. Pausing and connecting using wired connection improved my gaming experience tremendously.

    Network contention on your home network - Network-enabled devices can compete on your local network for the same download bandwidth as the console. Try pausing any download activity from other devices on your home network to see if that improves your console's download speed.

    Pause or no pause? Some say pause...some say no pause. I'm not getting the vibe that this is something that will not make me aggravated while getting used to.
