    I want to trade my One X in for max credit but want to know if and how I can put my Xbox Live subscription on pause, then resume once I get the Series X. Thanks for the info.

    There is no way pause the time for xbl or game pass you already paid for. You could turn the auto renew for the subscriptions you have.

    Sorry, you cannot pause your xbox-live subscription. As your pre-paid duration is already paid for. Only option is to cancel your subscription, but you are welcomed to renew your subcription at any time you deem fit.

    I'm very sorry to tell you but there isnt a way to do that. Once you start a membership term you can only cancel it. Would be great if you could for if say you go on holiday or your console is away for repair but right now it's not possible

    If you used a credit card to pay for your subscription, you can "cancel immediately" and you will get a refund for the remaining full months of your membership. So it's not really "pausing", but at least you'll get the monetary value of the remaining full
    months back (so for example, if you subscribed to a 12 month membership in January, and you cancel today in February, you will only get refunds for the months March to December).

    However, if you used a prepaid code card to activate Xbox Live Gold, then there is no way to pause the membership. You could in theory cancel immediately as well, but you won't get a refund for the remaining months.
