Pause download and queue dissapeared on series x

Hi!

On my Series X today i had downloaded about 50% of cold war, added 4-5 download packs for cold war, and two other games as well, i paused all to install a game from cd, i aborted the cd install since it was going to take two hours with upgrade, had to leave and i turned off the console.

I cant remember if this cd abort caused all my queue to dissapear or since i turn off the console made it, is this a common issue?

Never used cd before, cant remember to loose everything in the queue before.

With 50-80mbit download speed it is annoying, so want to ask how this could happen, and maby it’s safer to just add one game at time and let it finishing download before install from cd or cancel anything?

It's hard to say why this happened, but I believe it was a system failure, or bug, as you said, it didn't happen again, so the only explanation would be that.

I don't see how cancelling a CD install would remove the entire download/installation queue but anything is possible when it comes to tehcnology. Turning the console off whilst having games queued for downloading should make no difference...I frequently add games to the queue and then turn my Series X off and they are all installed when I turn it back on the next day

First, welcome to the Xbox community. I believe this happened due to these two things you did, as said you added 5 COLD WAR packages to be downloaded and then 2 more games, and then put to install a physical media game and turned off the console.

I believe that the system may have corrupted the files at the time you started the installation by the physical media game, and then the downloads were removed to avoid problems in their startup, however, this was also impacted by the console shutdown.

As I said I believe that these 2 factors caused this problem to happen, but rest assured, I believe it will not happen anymore, but anyway avoid doing this.

Hello. Thanks for replying. Yes not easy to say why, but the disc space is back and no issues, tried to start the same downloads now and pause download, then turn off. Turned on one hour later and they are in queue now.

Nursemorph: yes strange thing, after Google a bit i see a couple others ask about the same but it was from 2019, i have it in powersave mode so it does not download while it’s off, but i use that feature over night sometimes.

Error code 0x80070032 keeps popping up when trying to install fallout new vegas ultimate edition. I'm using disc two so I can get the dlc but no matter what I do, it keeps canceling the install. I'm on the series X

Hey dude just found a solution. Insert disc one, let it start installing, eject the disc and pause the download in the my game and apps queue.

Once paused, insert disc 2 and it should download all the DLC without the error.
