Path to Extreme Gear Set Blocked, Need Solution

Howdy. As far as I can tell It is impossible for me to get Reiko's extreme complete set. I have all the pieces required, but one of them is only elite, not extreme: Reiko's Mass Driver Woods.

I thought maybe if I kept buying Extreme packs I would also get Extreme Reiko's Mass Driver Woods, and then have them both. But, i have reached the point where the store's Extreme Packs reads "Boosters Only." Then, I tried to find a way to delete the
the elite club, thereby creating room for the extreme version, once again. But, I can't find a way to do that.

Anyone know a way I can replace the Elite club with the Extreme? Is this a bug, or is there some simple solution I am just not seeing?

Hope I can still get it. Every time since I first played, I have played toward acquiring that set. I even put off unlocking the other characters so i could get it faster.

Booster pack suggestions and gripes

1. There should be Extreme caddie Perks.

2. There should be complete Extreme "individual golfer" sets. Consider unlimited golfer abilities when a set is complete.

3. Extreme individual sets should give the best stats for each golfer. Other extreme gear could be equivalent to the individual clubs, but the set bonus should overcome them.

4. "All golfer" extreme sets should combine for unusual bonuses, (e.g. Wind Effect -100%, Water Skip +200%, or Rough/Sand -100%)

What Deadly Silent74 said. The only way to equip each golfer with a full set of Extreme equipment is to mix and match the pieces within the game. Fortunately that isn't difficult as a single club can be used by multiple golfers. There is no full set of named
Extreme gear in game for any golfer.

 

There is no solution. There is no named Extreme Driver for her. All of the original club sets had a mix of Elite and Extreme clubs. By original club sets I mean from before the first bug fix patch in January, which added 50 pieces of gear and changed the
credit payouts. The only thing having a named set of gear does is give a perk for the characters weakest skill, in Reiko's case that would be a +50 boost to power. There are combinations of Extreme gear that she can be outfitted with that raise her attributes
above the levels of the named gear, anyway.

That is a bit of a bummer. I was led off course because it doesn't make sense for set pieces to be from different tiers, or for a toon's main set to have sub-premium items. By the time you are able to collect the whole set and actually make use of the
set bonus you already have much better pieces.

Plus, I saw a poster say he had got an extreme Reiko's...so that was tricky, too.

I think in the context of the game as originally released it made sense as the point of a set WAS the bonus for equipping. There is/was an achievement as well for equipping a whole set.

Of the original equipment, Reiko had the only set that had as many as 4 Extreme pieces and no character had 5 or could have 5 until the additional 50 pieces were released. Frank, Kiara and Dominique only had 2 named Extreme pieces of gear each and Laoshi
and Henry each had 3 named pieces. All the other named gear for the golfers are or were Elite. As originally released Reiko had the only named Extreme Iron set, The Graviton Irons. All other Iron sets were Elite or less.

I have to believe the other poster misspoke as the Reiko Mass Driver Woods are not Extreme and wouldn't have appeared in an Extreme pack. You know yourself that when the equipment is gone from a category it changes to "boosts only".
