Patch Won't Download

Discus and support Patch Won't Download in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; i have auto download on and have fully turned off the console multiple times and cannot get the patch to download?     Patch Won't Download


    i have auto download on and have fully turned off the console multiple times and cannot get the patch to download? Anyone have any ideas or is anyone having the same problem?

    patches won't download

    I' currently trying to download a patch for BF3 and it won't download, it won't even start to download. its quite a large patch so i thought that might affect it so i tried a different gae, i went onto mw2 and the patch was only 4 MB but it still won't download
    i always get an error saying "cannot download patch".

    if youre unplugging any external hard drives I suggest you plug them back in, clear your persistent memory and then turn off the xbox if you have auto download enabled. that's what finally got mine to do it

    No external HDD, but cleared persistent memory, and still no go.

    Uninstall, and then reinstall, and it seems to be downloading the correct combined size (59.1 GB)

    Patch Won't Download

    That solution is not very feasible when you have a data cap. I will only do that after the game releases and it doesn't let me play. Not going to download it 2 more times.

    I am holding off on downloading far cry until it releases so I can save data. That is how little trust I have in microsoft on pre downloads working.

    Mines been on 100% the last 8 hours, are we saying it's gone wrong and I should uninstall and start again... Won't be happy

    I forgot... my xbox one is wired to the router. so is my xbox 360 and my sons xbox as well.

    I just re-downloaded digital on 2 Xbox Ones (120gigs). lucky I have Unlimited Downloading through my ISP.

    installing the game offline then having a patch

    I had something like this with Dead Rising. It said I could start playing then asked me to download a patch. Ive since installed the game offline but it won't let me play. Is it because the patch is not downloaded yet? Is the patch queued up behind my FIFA

    I won't clear the 360 storage since i have games and saved files in there. And i won't risk 130 hours on fallout 3 :)

    but i can try with clearing the system cash. Is that the power cycle you are talking about? The game isn't patched since the patch didn't fully download.

    If there is an update or patch for the game, it should download automatically if you load up the game while connected to LIVE. You won't find these listed in the Marketplace.

    The launch patch isn't even the size of a single CD-ROM, server load won't be a problem considering they're designed to handle entire game downloads.
