    Past Due is blocking me from using a prepaid card.


    My subscription for Xbox live is past due, although I canceled it on my account and froze the card that it was linked to. I just want to be able to use a code I have from a prepaid card I have, without paying the past due one. It can't even be past due when
    I just checked my Xbox account and it doesn't even have online access.

    I didn't realize that my account was past-due, and I purchased a prepaid card to continue services. Now my account is locked because it is past due and I can't redeem the prepaid card. Is there anyway to fix this? Thank you.

    Xbox Live Suspended due to past due payment---Doesnt make Sense

    Hey guys,

    I logged in tonight to see my Xbox live was suspended due to 9.99 being past due, BUT, I used a prepaid card bought from Microsoft and it has been working just fine until tonioght. The expiration date is 7/5/2017...it literally says it RIGHT ABOVE where
    it says I owe 9.99. How do I owe 9.99 overnight when I am using a prepaid card?

    In this case you would need to contact billing support at support.xbox.com/contact-us. Or if you're able, log into account.microsoft.com to pay the past due balance. You cannot use a prepaid code to pay the balance. It would have to be via credit card or
    paypal linked to the account.

    Just an FYI some prepaid cards are blocked from use on XBOX Live due to their nature of not actually being credit/debit cards. XBOX's billing will sometimes not accept the card and decline the transaction on some of these prepaid cards.

    As far as Chase Debit Cards, yes they can be used as I have used them in the past. The full amount of the payment is taken out of your checking account.

    For the past due you need to pay it by credit card or paypal. A past due couldn't paid with prepaid credit. Once this is paid. You could use a prepaid card for gold if you you dont want to pay it with a credit card or other payment methods.

    unfortunately past due balances can only be paid using a debit/credit card or mobile operator billing

    you can't use your account balance or prepaid cards or codes to clear a past due balance.
