    Past behavior? Please Help (Windows 10 app)


    I haven't been on XBox One (the actual console) in months and months, and I've been maybe once or a few times every month or every few months messaging friends over the XBox App on Windows 10.

    Suddenly, it's saying "Because of your past behavior, you can't send messages." 'OK'/'Cancel'

    Please help me with this, I would like to understand either what I did wrong, or how long this may go on for.

    I never received an email that I'm aware of that would document an infraction either.

    Why am I unable to change to a custom gamer pic when my record is perfect, no violations?

    I do know that the Xbox smartphone app sometimes gives that “past behavior” error message when it glitches out, despite you having a clean record.

    Try changing your gamerpic on a Windows 10 computer, using the built-in Xbox app.

    If there is nothing past due, then try redeeming it on the website, Windows 10 store or on the Xbox app instead, that might help.
