Password works on PC to log in but not on Xbox 360

Yes I can log online on my PC but not on Xbox 360. Also having reformated the xbox 360 hard drive I cannot download the profile associated with the xbox live account. It keeps stating the password did not work, strange it works online on the website but
not from xbox console.

My suggestion is to reset your password.

I have my account on my pc, mobile app, Xbox one, and 360 with no issue to logging in.

I hope you can get access to the 360!

I had a similar issue once with my Xbox 360, what I did was log in on account.microsoft.com on a PC/Laptop, then I logged back in on the Xbox 360. It then logged in and worked fine.

To play Xbox 360 games, you need to create an app password. To do this follow these instructions.

1. Log in on account.microsoft.com on your PC.

2. Select Security on the left side of the page.

3. Under advanced security settings, select get started

4. Scroll down the page until you get to App Passwords, select create a new app password.

5. Type the password that is created in the password box on your game.

The password should be accepted, and you should be then logged in.
