    I keep having to sign into my sisters account (not this one) and I keep receiving the notification that the account needs my Microsoft password verification before signing in on the Xbox (one) I keep all our passwords written down and if there is a change
    I will write it down. After putting in my password multiple times I kept receiving the notification was incorrect and that I needed to reset it. This then proceeded with 30 minutes to hours waiting on Microsoft to resolve the password error and nothing changed
    and it would happen again. I was bale to access the account and continue playing but it still continues to ask for the code every time I turn on the Xbox and start up again. I have checked the settings on the account and it does not request the code before
    playing. Please help me out here ad thanks

    Hi there, do you know if you have two-step verification enabled? If you have enabled two-step verification and not set up an app password for it you can get these sign-in errors that you're using the wrong password.

    I know you've said you have no secondary verification enabled, but I'm not sure if you're referring to two-step verification, I would suggest following the instructions at the following link just to make sure two-step is disabled or create a new app password:

    Thanks for the responses.

    I ended up contacting online support - we eventually set up two step verification and used the generated app(?) password. After entering this password it accepted my verification and the error disappeared.

    360 profile download error 80070570

    Couple things could be causing this.

    1. The password box on the 360s including the emulator on the Ones have a limit of 16 characters. So if your password is longer than 16 characters, when typing in your password in the password box it will stop at 16 and give you this error because that password
    does not match what is on your account.

    2. If you have two step verification turned on either turn it off or use your app password.

    Xbox Gold Account Login problem.

    So when you log into your account on your 360 basically it is telling you that your password is incorrect.

    Couple things to take into consideration especially if you have no issues signing into your account at account.xbox.com or account.microsoft.com

    1. The password boxes on the 360s including the emulator on the Ones have a limit of 16 characters. So if your password is longer than 16 characters and you go to type in your password in the box it will stop at the 16 character and give you this error message
    because it does not see any characters after 16. Solution: Change your password to something less than 16 charcters

    2. You have Two Step Verification turned on. The 360s do not play well with Two step verification for whatever reason. Solution: Turn Off two step verification or use your app password for the verification.


    Let Us know if either one of these where the problem and it resolved your problem.

    I have turned on the 2 step verification, and got a password for my Xbox.

    Same thing...

    Starts download to hard drive, then stops with error "profiles not available for download at this time." 80151011

    Im pulling what hair I got left out!
