Password setting smells like dark pattern?

Also, if you would like your account to be auto signed in whenever you turn your Xbox console on:

Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & passkey > Instant sign-in

To the Right of the "Lock it down" option, there should be a "customize" option, select that tab. This will display your customized options for signing in, when/where to ask for passkeys etc. You can customize each option to your personal preference.

I do not have that option .. I have 3 options.

- No barriers.. all unlocked

- Ask for my passkey... for sign in, settings and purchase.

- Lock it down.. all locked.

I use “ask for passkey” but it still wants password for sign in and simple things as change wallpaper and so on.

How did you get the password for purchase only?

You have no option to just put password on purchases?

i do not want to enter password for small stuff lile install or delete or change background color. Just password for purchase but it looks like it is not possible in an easy way atleast.. still have not found a way. I would call that a dark pattern.

Another dark pattern is that to signup is as easy as Push a button on the main screen

But you join a subscription! and to remove is a process that uses explorer And far more presses than actual signup.

This is a shameful dark pattern and xbox team should be ashamed
