Password Reset - So Frustrated!

This has happened to myself many times due to my internet provider changing my IP, using VPN also causes the reset password problem,... Just to be certain before throwing suggestions towards you can you say what kind of authenticator is being used? E.g second
email, phone number,.... no need to post the detailed info and or details, just the method that's being used.

Sadly i cant access my account information as i need to reset the password. I have no access until the password is reset.

Have you tried the forgot password method? If thag doesnt work I personally have exhausted all means to troubleshoot.

That's the point. I couldn't reset the password. The system wanted me to re-validate myself, and now in the continuous loop.

I've tried more times than I can think of now to recover the password/account. It's only associated to the Xbox account, and not used in any other way. But a significant amount of money has been spent through the ID. Even verifying with proof or purchases
is getting the standard automated rejection from MS.

So yes, I I'm trying to comply with recovery process (no choice), using GamerID's, proof of purchases etc, and everything is getting rejected.

Even though this is an XBOX account have you went online via web browsers and go to microsoft and check your account information; making sure its good on both ends? I sayvthat because even though is XBOX is still managed under MS as they are connected

Apparently, someone tried to hack the account and failed to get in. MS then asked me to go in and reset the password.

Ok so you reset the password; more thsn likely; i can safely assume one you know and use.

So if I understand correctly the new “reset” passpord does not work.

Let me check a standard question of the checklist...have you tried to reset the passpord again? If so does it conform to MS password safety protocol? Is 2FA enables ad well?
