    Password Reset Not working- Cannot access account.


    Hello i have gone through all the stages of trying to reset my password and nothing is working now.

    without going to to too much depth right now, i have the two step verification set up on my old phone which i can no longer access and forgot my password.

    anyway i got the the point of doing the 30 days reset, which i wasnt happy about but i get it. I went to play my xbox which is logged in anyway and it wouldnt let me play a certain game, so in my head im like

    im not waiting 30 days to play my xbox thats ridiculous in doing so

    i think i cancelled the waiting period im not sure, but now the problem is when i enter my 25 digit code to reset again because im just desperate not to the lose my account all i get is this message. ‘We’re not ready for you yet, your account is unable to complete
    the request’... that is it no time period or any other messages.

    what can i do, does it

    mean im waiting the 30 days or what its a bit vague.

    about accepting terms of use

    you will need to reset the password for the parental account. You can reset this by going to login.live.com and select cant access your account. Xbox customer support do not have the ability to reset the account password or accept the terms of use for you.
    If you cannot reset the password for the parental email you will lose the account.

    Switching GT to another MS account.

    That Microsoft Account recovery form is to change the e-mail since you cannot access the actual account to change the e-mail on the console, the password reset form is for resetting the password. You would need to go through the Microsoft Account recovery
    form using the link posted above.

    you can visit http://account.live.com and under the sign in button, click can't access your account and it will walk you through a password reset for your account. once you reset that password, turn
    your xbox on and use that new password to sign in. if that doesn't work for you, or you are unable to access that email address when doing the reset, there is an option that says i'm unable to use any of these options, it will have you fill in some information
    and if it pleases the system, it will get you a password reset to an alternate email address that you provide when filling out that form. if you are still confused or lost at that point, definately contact xbox support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX, but remember, they
    cannot provide a password reset over the phone, only assist you with various options to reset your password or get back into your account.

    Hi,

    You need to have access to your e-mail/password for the account in order to be able to access it. If you cannot access it but know the e-mail please try to reset the password by visiting this page
    here. If you can't reset the password then try to fill out the Microsoft Account recovery form
    here.

    If you're not able to do either, then please contact phone support and give them your gamertag. They should be able to assist with turning off automatic
    renewal for that account you cannot access.
