Password Required Only For Some Apps/Games

Yes, the account is for a child. But I'm not sure if that explains why Forza and Hulu don't prompt for a password and Netflix and Kinect Sports Rivals do.

Is the account that gets prompted for passwords an underage/child account by any chance?

Also, you may want to remove the link to the picture of your security settings as it contains an email address you might not want to be sharing publicly.

You don't need to concern yourself with an App password, it's not required to log into an Xbox 360 profile on an Xbox One. App passwords are only required on actual 360 consoles where the account has 2 step authentication enabled.

In addition to changing the password to something shorter, be weary of using special characters or spaces in your password, as the 360 emulator in the Xbox One/Series X|S has issues with these as well.

@romeo I have tried disabling the restriction on unrated content, but it still requires a password. The only workaround is to allow all game ratings (through M) and then (and only then) will the Indie games mentioned above play without the need for a password.
Of course, pretty much any content at that point will play without a password. This seems a bizarre loophole that would easily be solved by allowing an exemption to be added for Indie games, or some such other workaround.

App password is a two-factor authentication measure for Microsoft devices that do not support other TFA measures. In order to download a profile, it requires an app password.
